UX / UI

UX design creates tailored experiences that humans connect with. We dig into their world, empathize with their needs, and build things where each interaction is planned just for them.

We solve problems by focusing on user needs.

Why

Why UX?

The UX journey is all about walking a mile in your users’ shoes. It’s transformative for your product and pushes your business forward by making sure the goals you have are met. Curious about why it’s so important? We thought you’d never ask.

Performing UX work up front saves time and money later on. By relying on things like user research, prototyping, and usability tests, we find challenges before production begins. Not only is the review process going to be smoother, but you know your users won’t have any sneaky surprises in store after you launch.

User experience puts people at the heart of the design. If you're making choices based on what your users are up to, then you're crafting a product that's set up to win. Sure, everyone's got a take on what color the button should be, but it's the folks clicking that you should listen to.

Let’s say your site isn’t performing; a frustrating or confusing experience might be the culprit. UX services make products easy-to-use through meaningful, intuitive, and efficient solutions that help users accomplish goals. User satisfaction goes up, frustration goes down, and you get the engagement you need.

Speaking of filling out forms and making purchases, you’d be shocked at how little it takes to deter someone from converting. Things that seem minor or weren’t noticeable to you at all could be the thing mucking up your user flows. UX strategy services ensure clear paths to conversion an eliminate confusion.

If you're navigating an industry where lousy experiences are the norm, giving yours a UX facelift is a prime way to grab the spotlight. Not only will you appear more innovative, but you'll also attract the customers that are tired of struggling with all of your outdated competitors.

What

What is UX Design?

The UX strategy process forces you to focus on your users’ needs. If they’re unhappy or conversion is clogged up, UX solves problems by ensuring decisions are made for them.

Discovery

Before you build a masterpiece, you need to understand why you’re building it. UX Discovery unearths the problems you have, aligns us with stakeholder expectations, and lets us formulate a plan for success.

Audit

UX Audits check your site’s vitals, uncovering what’s working and what needs some help. It’s like a physical for your site. There’s no “turn your head and cough,” but we do list all the things that need TLC.

Research

Ever wonder what your users are thinking? With user research, we don’t guess; we get right in there. We learn about their wants, needs, and struggles. Armed with a clear view of who your users are, we can build a solution for them.

Information Architecture

Navigating your site shouldn’t be a wild goose chase. With solid information architecture, we set the stage for a clear, intuitive journey. When page names and organization align user actions and content, users move seamlessly.

UI Design

In the world of UX/UI design, it’s not just about looking good – it’s feeling right. “Design’” is just another word for “a plan that solving problems,” after all. Through research, we weave together interfaces that delight, direct, and win.

User Testing

It’s the users’ world; we’re just designing it. With user testing, we get their reactions and gather insights straight from the source. Why launch and hope for the best? It’s better to test and make the site perfect from day one.

How

How 36 does
UI UX

Each client story is different, and we tweak our approach to match. A typical process involves getting to know your users, crafting solutions tailored for them, testing to see if we’re hitting the mark, and iteratively making our work better.

Connecting with you on the challenges you're facing is huge, but it’s just as important to know your users. We step into the shoes of the people who'll be using your site so we can build something just for them.

By tuning into how they feel and act, we can guide them to any goal they have.

Next up is research. This could involve performing interviews, conducting surveys, analyzing the competition, evaluating your live site with a fine-toothed comb, or a number of other activities. No matter what methods we us, we’re loading up on as much knowledge as we can from the start.Once we totally get you and your market, we can begin to formulate a solution to whatever obstacle you face.

Here’s where the nerdy stuff starts. We take the information we’ve collected, analyze it, and define the core problem we’re seeing. This is a crucial step in making sure our team is aligned and we’re all producing fantastic, innovative, user-centric ideas.

With our problem in place, we work together to see it from different angles and come up with innovative solutions. This is a messy, creative, collaborative phase where we think as big as we can to form ideas that may not have been found otherwise.

Now it's time to breathe life into our ideas. We're fine-tuning so only the best concepts make the cut, and molding our strategy into something tangible. Whether we're talking low or high fidelity wireframes, we’re crafting something to test.

Once we've presented our strategy to you, it's test time! We'll bring your users in to watch their reactions, hear their thoughts, see their interactions, and understand their overall experience.

Equipped with their direct feedback, we can refine our approach super early on. We're fans of ongoing improvement, but now your site is tested well before it’s live.

Frequently asked questions

This all depends on what services we’re providing for you. A UX Audit could take a couple weeks, but we could also do ongoing consultation where we work alongside your team until you don’t need our help any longer.

The big thing to take away is that we do an excellent job of identifying what we can do to provide you with meaningful value within your budgetary and time constraints without sacrificing the quality of work. The best way to get an answer to this question is to get an intro going so that we can form a plan of attack that’s custom tailored to the problem you’re looking to solve.

Could we? Yeah. Should we? Probably not.

This isn't just about making things look pretty; it's about crafting an experience that feels like it reads your users' minds, making everything engaging, seamless, and downright enjoyable. A good experience is memorable. At the end of the day, solid UX research doesn't just make your product a hit with your crowd; it's a fast track to nailing big business wins. Taking the time to understand what your website needs to be lets us go above and beyond just best practice.

We’re always happy to do a little something extra to help you, but someone on our account team handles day-to-day communication on all of our projects. There are instances when it’s easier for someone on our UX team to interface with you directly (which may be over a video meeting, the phone, email, or Slack), but (even then) your account manager will be observing to make sure everything runs smoothly.

Pricing depends on a number of things, so it’s hard to provide an estimate without knowing how complex, lengthy, and challenging your project is. We can work with you to find a way to provide value within your constraints, but the best way to get an answer is to get a conversation going.
